Carbon capture and storage (CCS) is a key technology for tackling climate change by capturing, transporting and permanently geologically storing industrial carbon dioxide emissions. Australia is in the forefront of making CCS a technical, commercial and economic reality.
National CCS Week is a new event on the international calendar, providing a focus for CCS as an essential part of the global greenhouse gas mitigation portfolio.
National CCS Week will be held over six days, from 28 November to 3 December 2010. The week will include a range of CCS-based events around Australia.
National CCS Week will begin with the 2010 National CCS Conference, to be held Sunday to Tuesday, 28-30 November at the Park Hyatt Melbourne.
